The joyous occasion of Eid ul Fitr was celebrated at the Australian International Islamic College marking the end of the blessed month of Ramamdhan on the 29th of July 2014. Muslims from across Brisbane came to share this special occasion. Imam Shehzad Khan briefed the congregation on our responsibilities as an Ummah. Imam Mohammed Azhari delivered the Eid Khutbah in which he encouraged the congregation of their responsibilities as Australian Muslims, and that we Muslims should become more involved in our society. The Eid program ended with a special Dua from Imam Yousaf Thaqafi praying for the Women, Children and Men of Gaza and that Allah restores peace and stability to the Ummah at large. Everyone present were served to a delicious Eid breakfast. The AIIC school community would like to wish all Muslims of the Ummah a very Happy Eid Mubarak.
