AIIC Staff Visit Darra Mosque 4

Our Australian International Islamic College (AIIC) teachers had the privilege of visiting the Darra mosque. The purpose of the visit was for AIIC staff to have a first-hand experience of being inside a Mosque and to uderstand the functions of a Mosque.

AIIC staff members witnessed the Imam making ablution. The Imam stressed on the fact the ablution is an act of worship in which Muslims cleanse themselves before praying.

The Imam also gave staff members a tour of the prayer hall of the Mosque. Imam explained the pillars of Islam and how prayers and sermons are conducted in the Mosque.

The mosque visit was highly appreciated from all staff in which they were able to ask questions regarding Islam and Muslims.

AIIC would like to thank Imam Naeem Ali and the Darra Mosque committee for allowing us to visit.
