Welcome to Gold Coast Campus

The Gold Coast Campus of the Australian International Islamic College, started its operations in 2009 as a nationally accredited co-educational facility on the Gold Coast, to honour the death and memory of Sheikh Maktoum bin Rashid al-Maktoum in the city where he passed.

The College is situated in the suburb of Carrara and facilitates learning from Prep to Year 12.

The campus boasts a rich, green, scenic setting for your child to learn, laugh, and grow. With small class sizes, the teachers gain an in-depth view into your child’s learning habits. The students utilise the large multipurpose hall for sporting activities, and the daily Zuhr prayers.

Real world learning in Year 6
With the challenging times we have been facing, teachers have been working hard to help our youngsters comprehend the impact on society.
After engaging in a science experiment which demonstrates the way in which good hand hygiene can prevent the spread of bacteria, Year 6 analysed the impacts of the situation on different members of the wider community. Students then made the decision to write letters of thanks, encouragement and support to the “heroes of the frontline”, the workers within the Heath industry as well as those dealing with panic buying in shopping centres.
Letters were mailed and delivered in person and were received with gratitude.
May Allah swt protect and guide us all during these challenging times. May He bring ease to those suffering the greatest hardship and good health to those battling illness, insha’Allah.

Our Year 10 girls were invited to attend a special luncheon with MP Meaghan Scanlon and special guest Honourable Di Farmer.
I am so proud of the way our girls carried themselves and represented our school in such a positive way. Their confidence when liaising with members of the wider community was outstanding.
Well done girls and a big thank you to Meaghan Scanlon for the invitation and fantastic opportunity.
