• Have experience teaching in Queensland High schools
• Have a responsive, proactive classroom management approach
• Be eager to work in partnership with colleagues, students and parents in a professional learning community
• Be able to creatively use ICT to enhance a rich learning environment
• Possess a passion and enthusiasm to enrich children’s learning

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate and support faith-based lessons delivered by skilled staff.
• Attend and contribute to meetings as required.

Position: Administration Officer
Location: Durack, Brisbane QLD

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist staff and students with general requests and inquiries.
• Manage all incoming calls and emails promptly and professionally.
• Welcome visitors, ensuring they sign in according to the College’s procedures.
• Provide administrative support for school events such as camps, excursions, photo days, and sports days.
• Draft and manage correspondence such as letters, bulletins, and reports.
• Maintain and manage the school’s administrative systems, including file and data management.
• Administer first aid and manage the coordination of the sick bay as required.

Selection Criteria:

1. Proven experience in providing effective administrative support, with strong organisational and prioritisation skills.
2. Proficiency in using computers and a variety of software packages, including databases, spreadsheets, and word processing.
3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a solid foundation in customer service principles and practices.
4. Good interpersonal skills, with the ability to work both unsupervised and as part of a team.

Eligibility Requirements:

• Certificate III in Business Administration or equivalent.
• Must possess a current Blue Card.
• First Aid trained.
