FAQ for new families to the Australian International Islamic College (AIIC)

Welcome to the Australian International Islamic College (AIIC)! As new members of our community in 2024, we’re excited to guide you through the essential information that will help make your transition as smooth as possible. Here’s what you need to know: 

Orientation and Preparation for New Students

  • Durack  Campus orientation Day: We warmly invite students from kindergarten to year 7 to join us on Tuesday, 23 January 2024. For a detailed overview, please visit our Orientation Day 2024 page. 
  • New Parent Information Session: Vital information for new parents can be found on our website. 

Uniform and House System

  • Uniform Policy: Formal uniforms are a must for both Orientation Day and the first day of school. 
  • Your child’s house allocation will be announced on 23 January 2024. Please check the posters near the administration office for details.
  • Class Allocation: Along with the house allocation, class assignments for each student will also be provided. This information will help you understand your child’s daily schedule and classroom location.

Financial and Administrative Matters

  • Fee Payment: Termly invoices will be issued. Payment options include BPay, direct debit, or in-person payments at our Administration Office. Direct debit can be arranged through our Finance Team. College Fees 2024

Staying Informed

  • AIIC Communications: Keep up-to-date through various channels: 
  • AIIC App: Available in app stores and Play Store. 
  • Social Media: Follow us on Facebook and Instagram. 
  • College Website: For the latest news, events, and term dates. 
  • Email and SMS Notifications: Keep your contact details updated for these alerts.
  • Parent Lounge Access: Login credentials for the Parent Lounge will be emailed to you before Orientation Day. Please ensure your email address is current. 

Campus Logistics

  • Bus Service: We offer a convenient door-to-door bus service. Details can be found on our website. 

Event Calendar and Academic Schedule

  • College Calendar: Keep track of important dates and events through the calendar available on our website and AIIC App. 

Absence Notification and Late Arrival Procedures

  • Students arriving after 8:30 am should check in at Student Services. Early departures also require signing out at Student Services.
  • If your child is required to leave the College prior to the conclusion of the school day, they must sign out and be collected from Student Services. This applies to all Prep to Year 12 students.
