The Australian International Islamic College offers a Homestay program for Secondary students at Durack and Carrara campuses.
Every home before appointed is visited. The room and facilities for the student are checked. All adults in the home are checked that they have a valid Bluecard which allows them to be able to take care of children. Suitable hosts will then be given ongoing training on how to take care of international students. To ensure the ongoing suitability of the homestay, our staff will do regular checks of the home. To assist students and the homestay host, they will be given a 24-hour contact person to be able to communicate with for any concerns.
The Homestay program costs $23,000 per year.
The Homestay covers 46 weeks of the academic year at a rate of $500 per week. The amount excludes the December/January holiday period where students are to return home to their families.

Students who are accompanied by their parents/guardians will have to make their own arrangements with regards to accommodation and living. The approximate amount for a 1 unit bedroom and weekly expenses are $1000 per week. The accommodation and living expenses will vary in accordance with people’s living preferences.
