Safeguarding Message from the College Board

Australian International Islamic College (AIIC) is steadfast in its commitment to child safeguarding and in protecting the welfare of every child and young person entrusted to our care. Every child has the right to feel safe, valued, and protected. At AIIC, safeguarding is not merely a compliance obligation, it is an integral part of our Islamic ethos and educational mission, ensuring that our students grow into confident, compassionate, and responsible adults who contribute positively to their communities and the wider society.

The College recognises its child safety responsibilities as a sacred trust and holds them with the utmost seriousness. We are dedicated to maintaining practices that comply with all legislative requirements and reflect best practice in child protection. In support of this commitment, all members of our staff have received training in Child Safeguarding that equips students with the knowledge and skills to recognise unsafe situations and to seek help when needed.

Safeguarding is a shared responsibility. Every member of the AIIC community, staff, parents, volunteers, and students, plays an essential role in protecting children and young people. Any concerns relating to child safety must be reported immediately to one of our Child Safeguarding Officers (CSOs) or to the School Leadership.

Child Safeguarding Officers (CSOs) at AIIC

AIIC has appointed Child Safeguarding Officers across our campuses who serve as the first point of contact for concerns relating to child safety or wellbeing. They provide confidential support, guidance, and assistance in understanding reporting obligations and next steps, in accordance with AIIC’s Child Protection Policy. Posters with their details are visible across the school.

All safeguarding concerns must be reported without delay, and a written record of the incident and action taken must be maintained.
Together, we uphold our duty of care, ensuring that AIIC remains a place of learning, faith, and safety for every child.
The contact details for each CSO are listed below for each individual campus:
